BA in Economics-Philosophy from Columbia University; MA in Philosophy at Tel Aviv University (Thesis in progress). Recipient of the Tablet Magazine Journalism Fellowship.

Loves finding obscure stories that reflect larger trends, taking abstract concepts and distilling their essence, and revealing hidden angles of looking at the world and the people in it.

Hobbies include all things physical: surfing, skiing, kettlebells, BJJ. Enjoys music, cooking, and hugging my cats Matza and Gene (though pretty sure they don’t reciprocate the feeling).

Speaks Hebrew, Spanish and a bit of Portuguese, all with a Midwest accent.
